Koroboro International School in Port Moresby participated in John Bomben Soccer Carnival in Cairns during September School Holiday.
24 children from the school have been practicing for months to compete in Cairns. It is such a wonderful experience for children to learn team work, persistence, resilience and compete with children in Cairns.
It is quite a challenge for teachers to make this happen, and I take my hat off for all the effort they put in.
PEACS supported the team by donating Goal Keeper's jerseys.
Koro players loved all the experience of traveling, training, competition and tour in Cairns.
I would like to put a spot light for Harry, who was awarded the Best Goal Keeper in U11!
Well done Koro team, look forward to support another competition next year.
